Philippe JORON joins the innovative BIM data management specialist.
Since its creation in 2015, BIM&CO has constantly continued to innovate. Initially serving manufacturing and industry, the company’s services are now increasingly being solicited by construction companies. To meet this growing need, Philippe Joron, who comes armed with 15 years’ experience in engineering and construction, is joining the BIM&CO team as Commercial Director.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Philippe JORON, 40, is tasked with helping and supporting engineering and construction companies, architects and property developers undertake their digital transformation using BIM&CO technology. And into the bargain, this means significant gains in productivity thanks to better management of their collaborative BIM processes.
After studying electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical engineering then supplementing this with a diploma in technical sales, with a specialism in electricity, Philippe JORON joined a large specialist software house, where he developed his career initially in France then on the international stage, eventually becoming Director of Exports. He now joins the ranks of BIM&CO, a move he is highly enthusiastic about:
“I’ve always had this curiosity. I like to take on complex challenges in professional environments that advance and progress rapidly in markets that require a considerable capacity for listening and adaptation, such as BIM. Add to this the highly technical nature of the BIM&CO team and the fact their technology is unique in the marketplace, and I’m convinced we are going to go a very long way! ” explains Philippe.
The uniqueness of BIM&CO resides in its BIM object/data management and sharing technology, which is essential for properly structuring the way actors in the construction industry approach BIM. Endowed with a fine and detailed understanding of the engineering and construction sectors, Philippe is passionate about technology and will now be applying all his knowledge and know-how to the commercial development of this French gem of the BIM world, particularly with respect to its new Onfly solution.
“Philippe has an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset. He enjoys structuring teams and taking them further whilst at the same time being passionate about sales. I’m delighted to welcome him to the team!” — Baptiste Mullie, CEO of BIM&CO.
