STUDIO PRESENTATION
OrigIn and History
C95Creative is an architectural company that has the goal to transform the AEC sector through the use of BIM methodology. C95 comes from Euroamykasa, a business of more than 40 years experience in turnkey projects. C95 was formally born almost 1 year ago through the necessity to evolve a business model to a much more technological one.
Its professionals
We are approximately 40 professionals between the three departments (architecture, design and procurement). The correct professional profile to the three aspects that the company has is very varied. Although the majority of us are architects, technical architects and interior designers we also have in our team road engineers, computer technicians, programmers, accountants…which allow us to have a multidisciplinary team so we can adapt to needs from day to day.
Its activity
C95 Creative develops the largest part of its activity within apartments in the private sector, increasing happiness activity with office buildings and hotels, as well as a grand urbanisation project which is now in the studio. In regards to the location of our projects, we cover various continents. Currently on the table we have an office project in Puerto Rico, the refurbishment of three remote flats in Marbella, a refurbishment of a 1900s palace in Paris, a new flat construction in Arabia and the digitalisation of Ayacucho in Peru (seeing images in continuation).

ROUTE TOWARDS BIM
C95creative joined BIM through a gradual process by a decision taken by the management of the company 5 years ago.
This decision was made due to the firm belief that the necessary implementation of the latest technological advances in our way of working.
It wasn’t an easy change, we started by combining our work in CAD with the new work in BIM until making the total change 2 years later to become 100% BIM. To date, it has been a process of training and constant change, from different software to workflows that we make to be more productive…the studio is constantly buzzing.
BIM IMPLEMENTATION
Within the studio we carry out all parts of a project, apart from installation and structuring, although we design them, we do not calculate them. We subcontract these to other trusty teams who coordinate their BIM project with us.
Making integral projects in BIM, from architecture and interior designs, as well as the procurement part and work management going through the implication of structures and installations, allow us to achieve much more global and developed projects with a unique and collected way.
Depending on the finish of a project we complete a model project with an accurate data capture from the point cloud scans by Leica scanners (partner for more than a year), the data that it gives is of quality and precise. For the interference management part we use Navisworks and Synchro, including the latter in the work planning part together with Project. We currently generate budgets and measurements with the plugin Presto for Revit. Touching all the dimensions of BIM, we cannot ignore the display. The city project would not be easily understood without this aspect.
All this software is no more than a tool to work in BIM, which means that every day we are open to put new software or automations in our processes to speed them up or improve them.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE CLIENT
The majority of clients have always been from the private sector and there has never been a demand for BIM in previous years. Therefore, since this is not an imposition, this change has been made in a much more responsible and effective manner than it possibly happens in other cases around us.
In addition, we believe that when you offer transparency in your work and in your way of doing things the response is much more positive, as well as the involvement of others in your day to day life, all of this improves us.
We believe that the BIM methodology is not a tool and that it isn’t a “thing of the past”. It will evolve and we will with it, so that teaching the final client that our way of working is beneficial to all parties and should be part of the discourse of presenting a project.
WORK-FLOW
Throughout the life of a studio, needs change, either because clients change, the type of project changes or simply the requirements that the BIM has for that project change… and we have to adapt to that day to day. All this must be reflected in what we call our “style manual”, which forms an obligatory part of our “BEP +”.
C95creative invests a lot of time in developing content with what we believe to be appropriate quality standards for our projects. Due to the level of detail that our projects cover, we must optimise the information that we incorporate and we can not afford to include superfluous things. During all these years working with different manufacturers and products, we have been creating an extensive library to help us in our daily life which we are happy to share with the BIM&CO community.
The collaboration with BIM&CO is stable given that it achieves the same commitment of quality and optimised management that C95creative has in its way of working.
